Why: Parent home shows engagement and shortcuts for each linked student.

Menu: Home → Dashboard
Route: /app

How to:

1. Sign in as the parent demo user.
2. Open the dashboard.
3. Confirm your linked student appears.
4. Mark done.

Practice:

• Open live form: /app
• Follow menu path: Home → Dashboard
• Practice goal: See your linked children’s summary

Expected: After this step, “See your linked children’s summary” is true on the live system, and the Implementation Guide step “Open the parent home” can be Mark done.

Mistakes:

• If this step is skipped: Parent home shows engagement and shortcuts for each linked student.
• Using WhatsApp instead of the official form — the audit trail will be missing.

4.2 Parent-Teacher Connect

Main task: Message teachers without sharing personal numbers

Why: Conversations stay on the student record for the school.

Menu: Communication → Parent-Teacher Connect
Route: /parent-engagement

How to:

1. Open Parent-Teacher Connect.
2. Select your linked student.
3. Open a subject thread or start one.
4. Send a short practice message if you wish.
5. Mark done.

Practice:

• Follow menu path: Communication → Parent-Teacher Connect
• Practice goal: Message teachers without sharing personal numbers
